Our License Plate Recognition System (LPR) utilizes a high-resolution camera to acquire vehicle image for reading license plate information, this system allows the definition of multiple detection zones. Only vehicle plate that appears within the defined detection zones will be processed. This eliminates the need of an induction loop detector and cost effective, (LPR) is a technology that uses optical character recognition (OCR) to automatically read and recognize license plate numbers on vehicles. It typically involves the use of cameras placed strategically at vehicle gantries, parking lots, that capture images of passing vehicles and authorises them.

The images are then analysed by software that extracts the license plate number and compares it to a database of license plates, which can be used for legitimating the entries.
